OK, so perhaps this is old news. After all, the Shack phenomenon hit North America the year before last or something. But I was so impressed by this review that I had to re-post it. This review is not my own. I got it from this blog. The author is Tim Challies.
I have uploaded the free pdf to this site, so that you all can read it, even if you don't have adobe acrobat (it is only available on Tim's blog as a download)..

I think this review is remarkable for 2 reasons:
1) It is very even-handed. The author is clear about his views, while being extremely gracious in his handling of this book.
2) One of the themes throughout the review is spiritual discernment. By reading the review, I realized that my discernment is considerably lacking. It was a challenge to me. What Tim says about spiritual discernment is transferable to any book you may read, any movie you may watch, any game you may play.

May this article give you a love for theology, a love for truth, a love for fiction, but mostly a love for our eternal God - one God,

It's good stuff, and easy to read.

Cheers
Dan
